Imbros Gorge is located in the province of Sfakia and is the third most visited gorge in Crete, following Samaria Gorge and Agia Irini, near Sougia . The length of the gorge is 11 km and the route lasts 2-3 hours. The gorge is not difficult to cross, which makes it loved by the visitors of the island. The route starts from the village of Imvros and ends at the village of Komitades.
At the exit of the gorge there are cafes and canteens, you can also find a taxi to take you to Komitades, Hora Sfakion or back to Impros to pick up your car if you have left it there. From Komitades, or even better from Hora Sfakion you can also take a bus.
The gorge is part of the E4 path.
